Wizarding World of Harry Potter (& some Universal Studios) Tips 

• Frozen butter beer is much better than the regular, especially on hot days

• Don't get the souvenir cup unless your prepared to carry it around with you ALL day

• The Hogwarts Express is fine, but definitely not worth the wait (and you can walk in between the parks much faster than you'll get on the train and ride between them 95% of the time)

• You can definitely do both Harry Potter parks in one day (if that's the main reason your going) if you don't plan on going into every single store, restaurant, etc. A lot of the stores sell the same stuff, they just have different themes from the books/movies

• If you can only do one park, I'd recommend doing the Universal Studios Island of Adventure - this is the park that has Hogsmeade and the Hogwarts castle. Out of the two main Harry Potter rides, this park also has what I thought was the better of the two (Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey). Besides HP, this park also has Jurassic Park, King Kong, Dr. Suess, and The Incredible Hulk Coaster

• I would recommend getting the fast pass if you are only doing one day - regardless of whether this is for one park or both. Some of the lines can be literally an hour or two long, and with waits like that you definitely won't fit all the rides you want into one day. If you're doing two days, you will probably be able to fit everything in (but not more than once).
